The “Khanh Hoa Coracle & Basket Boat Racing 2025” officially kicked off on the morning of June 12, 2025, at Marina Beach Club – one of Nha Trang’s most popular coastal entertainment venues. This annual cultural and sporting event honors the traditional labor spirit of South Central Vietnam’s coastal communities.

This year’s festival welcomed more than 100 professional and amateur athletes from various coastal regions, alongside enthusiastic support from visitors across the country. Participants competed in a variety of exciting, performance-driven events that showcased dexterity and balance in the challenging marine environment.

Through this event, the Organizing Committee aims to promote the image of Khanh Hoa’s marine tourism while preserving and highlighting the distinctive intangible cultural heritage of fishing communities. It also serves as a platform for coastal localities to engage, connect, and contribute to a vibrant, healthy cultural and sporting playground.
