At Ana Marina Nha Trang, safety, port security, and environmental protection are always considered core priorities in marina operations. On August 25, 2026, Ana Marina Nha Trang conducted a drill program covering fire prevention and fighting, port security, and oil spill response, aimed at assessing team readiness, equipment operation, and coordination capabilities in the event of an incident.
Fire Prevention & Firefighting
In addition to being fully equipped with firefighting facilities, regular practice of response procedures and coordination during fire incidents helps enhance the fire handling and evacuation skills of the on-site Firefighting & Rescue team. This ensures the safety of people, vessels, and infrastructure within the marina in the event of a fire.
Port Security
Ana Marina is an international marina required to comply with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code), implementing the Port Facility Security Plan approved by the Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration. Marina security is monitored 24/7 through a CCTV system, combined with security personnel positioned at key locations to proactively detect and promptly address unusual security situations.
Regular security exercises and drills help strengthen the response capacity of Port Facility Security Officers and port security personnel in handling all security incidents within the marina area, meeting the requirements for welcoming international yachts.
Oil Spill Response
To proactively respond to oil spills, Ana Marina has equipped the facility with a range of standard response equipment. Regular drills improve operational skills, test the capacity for detection, containment, control, and coordinated response, while helping minimize the impacts of oil spills on the marine environment and marina operations.
The training and drill activities organized at Ana Marina not only fulfill legal requirements for port operations but also serve as an essential operational procedure and an opportunity to assess real-world capabilities, improve interdepartmental coordination, and strengthen the readiness of the entire system for emergencies at the marina.
