For Mr. Dang Bao Hieu, Founder of Ana Marina Nha Trang, every journey has been more than an opportunity to explore the world. It has also been a chance to recognize untapped potential, uncover overlooked values, and envision new possibilities for his own homeland.

From his early years as an educator to his subsequent career in tourism, he spent years observing, learning, and exploring how countries develop water-based tourism, and how marinas become gateways connecting people with the sea and the wider world.

Then, somewhere along those journeys, a question began to take shape in his mind: if the world already has gateways to the open sea, why should Vietnam — a country blessed with an extensive coastline, beautiful bays, and a culture deeply rooted in the sea for generations — not have one of its own?

That question marked the beginning of an ambition: to bring Vietnamese marine tourism closer to the world. From this vision, the idea of Ana Marina Nha Trang gradually took shape.

ACHIEVEMENT — FIFTEEN YEARS OF PERSEVERANCE

Some dreams take only a few years to become reality.

Others take a lifetime before they begin to reveal their true form.

For Ana Marina, the challenge extended beyond building infrastructure on the water. It also meant gradually helping the community understand the value of an international marina and the potential this model could bring to marine tourism.

More than a decade of perseverance, from the earliest ideas to the gradual realization of the project, reflects a journey shaped by belief, resilience, and the determination to pursue a different path.

Today, Ana Marina Nha Trang has become Vietnam’s first international-standard marina, steadily expanding its connections with the global yachting community and introducing new perspectives on marine tourism in Nha Trang.

This is more than the achievement of a single project. It marks a significant step in turning a vision into reality — bringing Vietnam’s maritime potential closer to international standards and experiences in marine tourism.
